How awful. I'm so sorry for his parents and family.

This is so sad. Parents aren't supposed to bury their children. :-((

This is sad news for my family. My aunt lives next to the family palace and worked for the royal family until retiring several years ago. I knew Alex and his family and last visited in 2006. His father saved my from drowning in the family pool when I was 5 years old back in 1974. My relatives in Sant Angelo will be attending the funeral services in town tomorrow morning and then traveling by bus to Rome for his formal cermeony and entombment.
