Modification to the succession of the Romanian throne

The succession to the Romanian throne has been changed.  The new list has been published on the Royal Family's website.

King Michael has stripped his third daughter, Irina, of her title Princess of Romania and her HRH. She and her descendants are no longer in line to the throne.  Irina is now styled as Irina Walker.

What's the modification? It was my understanding that the succession was Margareta > Elena > Nicholas since 1997, even though the former monarchy was salic.

Look at the list again. King Michael has five daughters.

I'm assuming the unfortunate events led to this? But why his other grandchildren?

Stavros, you presume correctly. These grandchildren have no real contact with their grandfather and have no real interest ...

i am so confused. why? if you already explained this, i have no memory of it... although given the brain damage i've suffered due to my disease & the subsequent brain surgeries, my memory has been impacted significantly so it's entirely possible i just don't remember. would you please enlighten me?

Michelle, it has to do with Irina's legal issues. I made a promise to not write about this because Irina is a friend. There are recent news stories.
